The aim of the Global Enterprise is to develop a global village that connects, partners and fosters learning and enrichment opportunities for our students and educators.

Strategies

  • To build a program of international student and knowledge exchange that expand student understanding of digitally connected, globalised and multicultural world.

  • To further develop and strengthen the authentic immersion programs into local and international communities and individuals into each stage of the College.

  • To increase opportunity, flexibility and access to teaching and learning programs for existing, remote and international students.

  • To establish global connection to local and international students in one learning community.

Key Projects

COMPLETED

St John’s Home Boarding offering a unique boarding alternative for regional and rural Australian families.

St John’s International College – Connect and Collaborate Program.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the Shanghai Brisbane Education Training Centre, Shanghai China places St John’s International College as a preferred Australian school to host international students.

St John’s Global Exchange Program was launched in 2023 and will commence in 2024/2025 for senior students of St John’s.

St John’s Global Learning Institute – Research Fellowship was launched in 2023 providing a St John’s staff member with an opportunity to engage in annual study or research activities.

Key Projects

IN PROGRESS

In 2023, St John’s launched it’s global 2024 expedition to Nepal. Open to all Years 10-12 students in 2024, this trip, run in association with World Expedition Schools, will provide students the opportunity to undertake community work, trek and safari.
